Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how BinoBet (“BinoBet”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details in Section 12.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They store and retrieve information (for example, your login state or language). We also use:
- SDKs (software development kits) in our apps performing similar functions to cookies;
- Local Storage / Session Storage (browser‑based storage);
- Pixels / Web beacons (tiny images that load when a page or email is opened);
- Device identifiers and fingerprinting signals used for security and fraud prevention.
Some cookies are placed by us (first‑party cookies). Others are set by third parties (third‑party cookies) providing features like analytics or secure payments.
2. Legal basis and your consent
Under the Dutch implementation of the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR/AVG:
Despite their necessity, you are under no obligation to provide permission to the cookies we describe.
You are not required, but your consent is required, for us to use analytics, personalization, and advertising cookies. Take a look at our cookie banner or head over to Account > Privacy > Cookie settings to make the necessary changes to your settings. You can choose between both of these choices.
Any time you want, you can go back and edit or delete your decisions (for details, see Section 5). You may experience some functionality issues, but the Platform will still function normally, if you choose not to enable cookies that are not essential to its operation.
3. The categories we use
We group cookies and similar tech into the categories below. Each cookie is mapped to one category in our consent manager.
3.1 Strictly necessary (required)
Enable core site/app functions: secure login, session management, payment flows, consent storage, load balancing, and fraud/abuse prevention. Without these, the Platform cannot function safely.
3.2 Preferences (functional)
Remember choices such as language, region, accessibility options, and whether you’ve seen certain notices.
3.3 Performance (analytics)
Help us understand how the Platform is used (for example, which pages are visited and where users encounter errors). We use aggregated and pseudonymised metrics where possible.
3.4 Personalisation (experience)
Adapt content to you—for example at BinoBet, showing your recently played games or highlighting relevant features. These cookies do not change game outcomes or odds.
3.5 Advertising/marketing
Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, where permitted, show relevant messages on our own properties. We do not sell personal data. We do not target individuals in CRUKS, self‑excluded players, or minors.
3.6 Security & fraud prevention
Detect suspicious behaviour (e.g., account takeover, bot traffic, or location spoofing) and protect payments. Some of these are necessary; others are risk‑based and configurable.
4. What we place on your device
The exact cookies vary by device and feature set. The table below is illustrative; our live consent manager lists the current set with names, providers, purposes, and expiry.

Note: Names in brackets are placeholders; the live list in the banner is authoritative.
5. Managing your preferences
You are in control:
- Use the cookie banner on your first visit to accept, reject, or customise categories.
- At any time, go to Account → Privacy → Cookie preferences to change your choices or withdraw consent.
- Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This may affect functionality.
- Mobile settings: you can reset advertising identifiers and limit ad tracking in iOS/Android settings.
- Email pixels: you can disable images by default or unsubscribe from marketing emails.
We honour signals from supported Global Privacy Control (GPC)/“Do Not Track” mechanisms for marketing where technically feasible, in addition to your in‑product choices.
6. Third parties and international transfers
Third-party providers include analytics, security, payment, and content delivery network (CDN) services that use cookies. When these organizations process our personal data, they are doing so under contract. When they are acting as independent controllers, such when they offer aggregated benchmarking, they send out their own notifications.
When data leaves the EEA/UK, we take further steps to protect it, such as encryption and access controls. We also apply legal protections like adequacy rulings or Standard Contractual Clauses. Our Privacy Policy has further information on senders and receivers.
7. Children and protected users
We do not knowingly place non‑essential cookies for users who are under 18. We suppress marketing categories for self‑excluded players and for CRUKS‑registered individuals as part of our duty of care.
8. Retention
Cookie lifetimes differ:
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser or log out.
- Persistent cookies last from a few minutes to a few years, depending on their purpose.
We keep consent logs for evidence of your choices for as long as required by law and our accountability obligations.
9. Security
We protect cookie‑based data with TLS in transit and restrict access on a need‑to‑know basis. We avoid storing sensitive information (like full payment details or passwords) in cookies. Security and fraud cookies help us detect bots, account takeover attempts, and location spoofing.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, guidance from the Kansspelautoriteit or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or updates to our services. When changes are material, we will display a notice in the banner or within your account and request consent again if required.
11. How this interacts with other policies
This Cookie Policy forms part of our privacy framework and should be read with our Privacy Policy, Responsible Gambling Policy, and Terms & Conditions. Where they differ on consent, the stricter standard applies.
